1. About these terms
1.1 These terms govern your use of the RevUp app and website (together, "RevUp"). They form a contract between you and RevUp369 ApS ("RevUp", "we", "us").
1.2 You accept these terms when you create an account. The app records the version you accepted and when. If we change the terms, you will be asked to accept the new version before you continue (see section 20).
1.3 These terms work together with:
- the Community Guidelines and End User Licence Agreement at https://revup369.com/community;
- the Privacy Policy at https://revup369.com/privacy, which explains how we handle personal data;
- the Stripe terms listed in section 21, which apply to payments and payouts.
1.4 If you use RevUp as a consumer, nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory Danish or EU consumer law, including the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (forbrugeraftaleloven), the Danish Sale of Goods Act (købeloven) and the Danish Marketing Practices Act (markedsføringsloven). Where a clause in these terms would conflict with such a right, the right applies.
1.5 These terms are written in English. A Danish version will be published. If the two versions differ, the English version applies, except that a consumer may always rely on the version they accepted.
2. What RevUp is
2.1 RevUp is a marketplace. We run a platform where people offer and book three kinds of things from each other:
- parking — a private parking space let by its holder for a period of time;
- rideshare seats — a seat on a private car journey the driver is making anyway, shared to split costs;
- local services — a job posted by a customer and carried out by an independent service provider.
2.2 We are not the provider. RevUp does not own, let, drive or perform any of these things, and we never buy them and resell them. The person who offers the parking space, drives the car or carries out the job (the "provider") supplies it to the person who books it (the "customer").
2.3 Each booking is three separate supplies:
- the parking, ride or service itself, supplied by the provider to the customer;
- RevUp's service fee, which is our facilitation service to the customer;
- RevUp's commission, which is our facilitation service to the provider.
2.4 The booking contract is between the provider and the customer. It is formed when a booking is confirmed (see section 7). RevUp is not a party to it and is not responsible for how it is performed. We act as a disclosed intermediary: we show the customer who the provider is, by name, before and after booking, and the customer's receipt names the provider as the supplier of the booking amount.
2.5 Providers set their own prices and carry the risk of what they offer. We do not decide the price of a parking space, a seat or a job.
2.6 When we collect a customer's payment, we collect the booking amount on the provider's behalf, as the provider's payment collection agent, and hold it until it is released to the provider (section 9). A customer who has paid RevUp has paid the provider. Payments are processed by Stripe, a licensed payment institution (section 21).
2.7 Car rental is not offered on RevUp at this time and is not covered by these terms. If we introduce it, these terms will be updated first.
3. Definitions
- Account — your RevUp user account.
- Customer — a user who books parking, a rideshare seat or a service.
- Provider — a user who offers parking (a "host"), a rideshare seat (a "driver") or a service (a "service provider").
- Listing — a parking space, a ride or a service bid published on RevUp.
- Booking — a confirmed arrangement between a customer and a provider made through RevUp.
- Booking amount — the price the provider sets for the booking.
- Service fee — RevUp's fee to the customer, added to the booking amount at checkout.
- Commission — RevUp's fee to the provider, deducted from the booking amount.
- Wallet — the in-app balance showing money held for a provider and money they can withdraw.
- Booking credit — an in-app balance a customer can use towards future bookings (section 11.6).
- Business user — a provider who uses RevUp in the course of a trade or business, including every provider with a business tax profile (section 12.3).
4. Who can use RevUp
4.1 You must be at least 18 years old. You give your date of birth when you create your account, and RevUp will not let an account under 18 book, list or earn.
4.2 You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
4.3 You may hold one account. You may not create an account for someone else or use another person's account.
4.4 Earning is limited to Denmark. To offer parking, rides or services and receive money, you must be resident in Denmark and have a Danish bank account for payouts. Customers can pay with any supported card, wherever it was issued.
4.5 If you use RevUp for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business. A business provider must give its CVR number in its tax profile (section 12).
5. Your account and verification
5.1 You can sign up with email, Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity on your account. Tell us at once at [email protected] if you think someone else has access.
5.2 Identity verification. Before you can book, list or bid, you must verify your identity. This is done through Stripe Identity, or in exceptional cases manually by our support team. We receive the verification result and a reference to the Stripe session. We do not receive or store images of your identity documents.
5.3 If verification fails three times, you must contact support to continue.
5.4 Identity verification confirms who you are. It is not a background check, a driving-licence check or a qualification check. RevUp does not check driving licences, vehicle roadworthiness, insurance, trade qualifications or rights to a parking space. Each user is responsible for deciding whether to deal with another user, and for asking the other user for any references, documents or insurance they want to see first.
5.5 Payout onboarding. To receive payouts, a provider must also complete onboarding with Stripe (section 21), which runs its own checks. Stripe may ask for further information or documents at any time. Payouts can be paused until Stripe's requirements are met.
6. Listings and what providers promise
6.1 All providers promise that:
- the listing is accurate and complete, including price, location, times and any conditions;
- they have the legal right to offer what they list;
- they will honour confirmed bookings;
- they comply with all laws that apply to them, including tax, VAT, bookkeeping, consumer, traffic and planning rules;
- they carry any insurance their activity needs. RevUp does not arrange or provide any insurance. A host is not covered by RevUp for damage to a parked car or to the space, a driver is not covered by RevUp for anything that happens on the journey, and a service provider is not covered by RevUp for damage caused while working. Check your own policies before you list.
6.2 Parking. A host promises that they own the space or are otherwise entitled to let it for the booked period, for example with permission from a landlord, housing association or owners' association (ejerforening, andelsboligforening). The host is responsible for access to the space and for any rules that apply to it.
6.3 Rideshare. A driver promises that:
- the ride is a private journey the driver is making anyway, and seats are shared to split the costs of that journey;
- the driver is not operating commercial passenger transport, a taxi service or any service that needs a licence under the Danish Taxi Act (taxiloven);
- the price per seat is a contribution to the costs of the journey (fuel, wear and tolls) and not a profit;
- the driver holds a valid driving licence and the vehicle is roadworthy, registered and insured for the journey.
RevUp may set a maximum price per seat to keep rides within cost-sharing. Where a maximum applies, it is shown when you offer the ride, and the app will not accept a higher price.
6.4 Services. A service provider promises that:
- they are an independent contractor and not an employee, worker or agent of RevUp;
- they decide whether to bid, on what terms, and how they do the job, supply their own tools, and are responsible for the quality and safety of their work;
- they hold any authorisation the job requires;
- if they use helpers or subcontractors, they remain responsible to the customer for the work and do not share their RevUp account.
Nothing in these terms creates an employment relationship between RevUp and any provider. RevUp does not set working hours, supervise the work or direct how it is done.
6.5 Customers promise to use what they book lawfully and as described, and to treat the provider's property and person with respect.
7. Bookings
7.1 Instant bookings. For a listing marked for instant booking, the booking is confirmed when your payment succeeds.
7.2 On-request bookings. For a listing marked "on request":
- you send a request and save a payment card. You are not charged when you send the request, and no amount is held on your card;
- the provider has a set time to accept or decline (currently 24 hours). If they do nothing, the request expires;
- when the provider accepts, your saved card is charged straight away for the price quoted when you sent the request, less any booking credit you have. The booking is confirmed when the charge succeeds;
- if the charge cannot be made (for example your bank declines it, or the saved method cannot be charged without you present), you get a set time to pay in the app (currently 12 hours). If you do not pay in time, the request expires;
- you may send several requests at once. Your first request to be paid becomes the booking. Other requests for the same space or seats that can no longer be met are declined automatically;
- you can withdraw a request free of charge until it is paid.
The request and payment windows that apply are shown in the app when you make the request.
7.3 Services. A customer posts a job and service providers bid. When the customer accepts a bid and pays, the booking is confirmed.
7.4 Parking extensions. A parking customer can ask to extend a booking. An extension only applies if the host accepts it and the extra amount is paid.
7.5 The price, service fee, cancellation terms and the provider's name are shown before you confirm. The price you agreed to is the price you pay, even if a fee rate changes before a request is accepted.
8. Prices, fees and payment
8.1 Providers set the booking amount. RevUp adds a service fee to what the customer pays and deducts a commission from what the provider receives. Both are shown at checkout, and the provider sees the commission before they list or bid. The rates can change, but a change never affects a booking that is already confirmed or a request already sent.
8.2 All prices are shown in Danish kroner (DKK) and include any VAT that applies. RevUp's service fee and commission include 25% Danish VAT.
8.3 Payments are processed by Stripe. RevUp does not see or store your full card number. Accepted methods are shown at checkout. They can include cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and MobilePay. On-request bookings need a saved card (section 7.2).
8.4 Booking credit is applied automatically at checkout.
8.5 Keep bookings on RevUp. A booking you found on RevUp must be arranged and paid through RevUp. You may not ask for, offer or accept payment outside RevUp for it, or move a booking off RevUp to avoid the service fee or commission. This protects the held-funds, refund and dispute rules that both sides rely on, and it is a serious breach of these terms (section 19.4).
9. Holding, release and payout of provider funds
9.1 Funds are held until the booking is complete. The booking amount a customer pays is held by RevUp for the provider until the booking is completed or cancelled. It is then released to the provider's wallet, minus the commission.
9.2 When a booking counts as complete:
- Parking — when the booked period ends.
- Rideshare — a set time after the ride ends (currently 24 hours). During that time a passenger can report that the ride did not happen. A report keeps the funds held while we look into it.
- Services — when the provider marks the work complete and the customer confirms it. If the customer neither confirms nor raises a problem within a set time (currently 72 hours), the booking is confirmed automatically. The customer is notified when the window starts.
The windows that apply are shown in the app.
9.3 Pending period. Released funds stay pending in the wallet for a short period before they can be withdrawn (currently 48 hours). This gives time to catch a payment reversal or a late report before money leaves RevUp.
9.4 Payouts are the provider's own money. A withdrawal moves funds we collected on the provider's behalf to the provider's bank account. It is not a purchase by RevUp and it is not an invoice. Payouts go through Stripe to the bank account registered with Stripe. Only the available balance can be withdrawn.
9.5 Negative balance. A provider's balance can go below zero, for example after a cancellation penalty (section 11.4). Payouts are paused until the balance is positive again. We set a negative balance against the provider's future earnings on RevUp. If a provider closes their account or stops using RevUp with a negative balance, the amount remains owed to RevUp, and we may ask the provider to pay it.
9.6 Holds and reversals. We are required to check accounts for fraud. We may delay a payout, ask for information, or hold funds while we review unusual activity, a report or a payment dispute. If a customer's bank reverses a payment (a chargeback) for a booking after the funds were released, and the reversal is upheld because the booking did not happen as agreed, we may set the reversed amount against the provider's balance. A hold lasts no longer than our review needs, and we tell the provider when a hold is placed and when it is lifted.
10. Receipts, commission invoices and earnings statements
10.1 When a booking is settled, the app issues:
- a booking receipt for the customer. It names the provider as the supplier of the booking amount and RevUp as the supplier of the service fee;
- a commission invoice for the provider, for RevUp's commission.
Corrections are made by credit note. These documents are available in the app.
10.2 Each time a provider withdraws funds, we email an earnings statement summarising the bookings, commission and payouts in the period. The statement is a summary of the provider's own earnings. It is not an invoice from the provider or from RevUp.
10.3 RevUp does not issue invoices in a provider's name (no self-billing). A provider registered for VAT is responsible for issuing any invoice their customers are entitled to, and for accounting for VAT on the booking amount.
11. Cancellations and refunds
11.1 Cancellation terms are shown before you book. They depend on the type of booking, who cancels, and how long before the start the booking is cancelled. The terms shown at the time of booking are the ones that apply to that booking.
11.2 Customer cancels (parking and rideshare). The refund is a share of the total you paid, including the service fee, set by timing tiers: the further ahead you cancel, the more you get back, down to no refund close to the start. The exact tiers are shown at checkout and in the booking. The part not refunded goes to the provider, less RevUp's commission, as compensation for the late cancellation.
11.3 Customer cancels (services). A customer can cancel for a full refund until the provider marks the work complete. After that, the booking cannot be cancelled. A problem with the work must be raised with support (section 16).
11.4 Provider cancels. If a provider cancels a confirmed booking, the customer always gets a full refund, including the service fee. The provider may also be charged a cancellation penalty. The penalty is a fixed share of the booking amount that depends on how close to the start the provider cancels, and it is shown to the provider before they confirm the cancellation. The penalty is given to the customer as booking credit, to make up for having to rebook at short notice. It is the only amount a provider owes for cancelling, unless the cancellation was made in bad faith.
11.5 How refunds are paid. Refunds go back to the original payment method, up to the amount charged to it. Any part of a refund paid for with booking credit comes back as booking credit. Refunds usually show on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
11.6 Booking credit can only be used towards bookings on RevUp. It cannot be withdrawn, paid out or transferred, and it does not expire. It is not paid out in cash, except where mandatory law requires it.
11.7 Right of withdrawal. As a consumer you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. It applies as follows on RevUp:
- RevUp's own service (the service fee and the use of the platform): by confirming a booking, you ask us to start our service at once. Our service is fully delivered when the booking is confirmed, and the right of withdrawal for it then lapses. You can still cancel the booking under sections 11.2 and 11.3.
- Rideshare seats: passenger transport is outside the right of withdrawal.
- Parking booked for a specific date or period: there is no right of withdrawal for a service to be performed on a specific date or in a specific period. The cancellation terms in section 11.2 apply instead.
- Services: by paying for a job, you ask the provider to start within the 14 days. If the job is finished within that time, the right of withdrawal lapses. If you withdraw after the work has started but before it is finished, you pay for the part already done. Section 11.3 gives you more than this: a full refund until the provider marks the work complete.
To withdraw where the right applies, email [email protected] or cancel in the app before the 14 days end.
12. Taxes, VAT and reporting
12.1 Providers are responsible for their own taxes. This includes income tax, VAT, bookkeeping and any registration they need. RevUp does not give tax advice. Our fees and receipts do not change what a provider owes.
12.2 VAT registration. A private provider may have to register for VAT if their taxable sales pass the Danish registration threshold (currently DKK 50,000 in a 12-month period). The app shows a reminder as a provider approaches it. The provider remains responsible for checking whether their activity is taxable and for registering in time.
12.3 Tax profile. Each provider keeps one tax profile, either private or business. A business profile needs a CVR number and may include a VAT number. The profile applies to everything you do on RevUp. To switch between private and business after first saving, contact support.
12.4 DAC7 reporting. RevUp is a digital platform operator. Under EU rules (Council Directive (EU) 2021/514, "DAC7"), as implemented in the Danish Tax Reporting Act (skatteindberetningsloven) and the executive order on reporting by platform operators, we must collect information about providers and report it once a year to the Danish Tax Agency (Skattestyrelsen). The information includes your name, address, date of birth, tax identification number (CPR number, or CVR for businesses), VAT number, and the amounts you earned, the fees we took and the number of bookings per quarter. For parking it also includes the address of the space and, where available, its land registry number. Skattestyrelsen may share this information with other EU tax authorities.
12.5 We will ask for your CPR number only when the law requires it for DAC7. If you do not give the information we need, the law requires us to remind you twice. If the information is still missing 60 days after the first reminder, we must pause your payouts and may have to close your provider account until it is given.
13. Deposits and extras
13.1 There are no security deposits or paid add-ons on parking, rideshare or service bookings at this time. If we introduce them, the amounts and rules will be shown before you book and these terms will be updated.
14. Messages, reviews and other content
14.1 Your content. You keep ownership of what you post, such as listing text and photos, profile details, messages and reviews. You give RevUp a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, display, reproduce and adapt it as needed to run RevUp, for as long as the content is on RevUp and afterwards as the Privacy Policy describes. We will not use your photos or name in advertising without asking you first.
14.2 You promise that your content is lawful, accurate and yours to post, and that it follows the Community Guidelines.
14.3 Reviews. After a completed booking, the customer and the provider can review each other. Reviews are "blind": neither side sees the other's review until both have submitted, or until the review window closes (currently 14 days after the booking completes). Once submitted, a review cannot be edited. Reviews must be honest and based on the actual booking. How we make sure reviews are genuine: only the two parties to a completed, paid booking can review it, and each can review it once, so every review comes from a verified booking. We do not pay for reviews, we do not let anyone buy a better rating, and we show all published reviews, positive and negative, in date order. Reviews are screened and can be reported as described in section 14.4.
14.4 Moderation. We check content automatically and act on reports (see the Community Guidelines):
- photos in listings, profiles and vehicles are screened before they are published;
- messages and reviews are screened after they are published. Content that is flagged may be hidden while we review it.
We review reports within 24 hours. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law, and restrict, suspend or close the account that posted it. When we remove or restrict your content or account, we tell you what we did and why, and how to appeal, unless the law prevents it. The appeal process is in the Community Guidelines, section 11.
14.5 Reporting and blocking. You can report any message, review, profile or listing, and block any user, from inside the app.
15. Prohibited conduct
You may not:
- break the law, or use RevUp for anything illegal, including unlicensed passenger transport or undeclared work;
- post false, misleading or duplicate listings, or list something you have no right to offer;
- harass, threaten, discriminate against or abuse anyone;
- post content that breaks the Community Guidelines;
- give false identity, tax or bank information, or use someone else's identity or payment method;
- manipulate reviews, prices or search results;
- take bookings or payments off RevUp to avoid fees (section 8.5);
- advertise your own or anyone else's business on RevUp other than through a listing;
- scrape, copy, reverse-engineer or interfere with RevUp, its security or its other users;
- create a new account after we have suspended or closed yours.
16. Problems between users
16.1 Because the booking contract is between the customer and the provider, a problem with a booking is first a matter between them. We encourage you to use in-app messages to sort it out in good faith.
16.2 If you cannot agree, contact [email protected]. We may look at the booking, the messages, the photos and any reports, and we may keep funds held while we do. Based on these terms and what we find, we decide whether to release, refund or partly refund the held booking amount. We decide on the evidence in the app and we aim to do so within 14 days. Our decision only concerns the money held by RevUp. It is not a legal ruling on the dispute between you, and it does not bind either of you beyond the held amount.
16.3 Our decision does not stop either party from using their legal rights against the other, including the courts. A consumer who has a complaint about RevUp's own service can also use the complaint routes in section 22.3.
17. Safety and insurance
17.1 RevUp does not provide insurance for parking, rides or services, and does not check drivers, vehicles, spaces or work quality beyond identity verification (section 5.4).
17.2 In an emergency, call 112. RevUp is not an emergency service.
18. Our responsibility to you
18.1 We run RevUp with reasonable care and skill. We do not guarantee that RevUp will always be available, error-free or uninterrupted, and we may take it down for maintenance.
18.2 Because RevUp is not the provider, we are not responsible for the parking, ride or service itself, including its quality, safety, legality or whether it happens, or for damage, injury or loss caused by another user. The provider is responsible for it to the customer, and each user is responsible to the other for their own conduct.
18.3 We are responsible for our own service: the platform, the service fee and commission, and handling the money we hold on providers' behalf.
18.4 Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost earnings, lost bookings, lost data or loss of goodwill;
- we are not liable for content posted by users, or for how another user uses information you have shared on RevUp;
- our total liability to you for all claims arising out of RevUp in any 12-month period is limited to the service fees and commission you paid to RevUp in that period, or DKK 5,000 if that is more.
These limits do not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for loss caused by our intent or gross negligence, or to any liability that cannot be limited under Danish law. If you are a consumer, nothing in this section limits the rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
18.5 Providers' responsibility to RevUp. A provider is responsible for claims by customers or third parties that arise from the provider's own breach of law or of these terms, and will reimburse RevUp for reasonable costs we incur as a direct result of such a breach.
19. Suspension, closing your account and deletion
19.1 You can delete your account from Profile, then Privacy & data, or through https://revup369.com/delete-account. Deletion starts a 30-day grace period. During that period your account is hidden and signed out, and signing in again cancels the deletion. Your listings and rides are unpublished at once. Bookings already confirmed with customers still go ahead.
19.2 When deletion is refused. You cannot delete your account while any of these apply:
- you have money in your wallet, positive or pending;
- your balance is negative;
- a payout is in progress;
- you have open bookings as a provider;
- you have unused booking credit.
Contact support to settle these first. Unused booking credit does not block deletion if you tell support you give it up.
19.3 Some information must be kept after deletion, for example accounting and tax records. The Privacy Policy explains what is kept and for how long.
19.4 Our right to suspend or close. We may restrict, suspend or close an account, or remove a listing, if:
- you break these terms or the Community Guidelines;
- the law requires it;
- we reasonably suspect fraud or a risk to other users.
We tell you the reason, in the app or by email, no later than when the decision takes effect, together with how to appeal (Community Guidelines, section 11), unless the law prevents it. If we close a business user's account permanently, we give 30 days' notice, unless the closure is required by law, the user has repeatedly broken these terms, or there is illegal content, fraud or a safety risk. Money held for a provider is paid out once any hold is lifted and any debt to customers or RevUp is settled.
20. Changes to these terms
20.1 We may change these terms, for example to reflect new features, legal requirements or changes to fees.
20.2 Each version has a version number. We give you at least 15 days' notice of a change before it takes effect, in the app or by email, unless the change is required by law or fixes a security problem, in which case it may take effect at once. The app asks you to accept the new version before you continue using it. If you do not accept, you can delete your account (section 19).
20.3 A change does not affect a booking confirmed, or a request sent, before the change took effect.
21. Stripe
21.1 Payments, payouts and identity verification are handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Limited and its affiliates ("Stripe").
21.2 Providers. By completing payout onboarding, a provider agrees to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement (stripe.com/legal/connect-account), which includes the Stripe Services Agreement (stripe.com/legal/ssa). The app records the date and IP address of that acceptance and passes them to Stripe. RevUp may share information about you and your transactions with Stripe as needed to provide the payout service, and Stripe may require further information from you to meet its legal duties.
21.3 Identity verification is carried out by Stripe Identity under Stripe's own terms and privacy notice (stripe.com/privacy).
22. Governing law and disputes
22.1 These terms are governed by Danish law.
22.2 Disputes between you and RevUp that cannot be solved by agreement are decided by the Danish courts. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you may also bring a claim in the courts of that country, and you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
22.3 Consumer complaints. If you are a consumer and have a complaint about RevUp's own service, write to us first at [email protected]. If we cannot resolve it, you can complain to the Danish Centre for Complaint Resolution (Center for Klageløsning) and the Consumer Complaints Board (Forbrugerklagenævnet) at Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, through www.naevneneshus.dk, subject to their rules on which complaints they take. Complaints about a provider's parking, ride or service are between you and the provider (section 16).
22.4 Business users. If you are a business user and we cannot resolve a complaint about our handling of your account through support, we are willing to try mediation with a mediator agreed between us before any court case. Each side bears its own costs and half of the mediator's fee.
